Overview As our Account Manager in Libertyville, IL, you will be part of our world-class manufacturing company, which has a 90+ year history of making essential machinery needed in vital industries. This role sells Meyer Pro products, with a focus on insulation blowers, air duct cleaning vacuums, and insulation removal vacuums. Every day, you will interact with customers, prepare quotes and proposals that include technical information, confirm product specifications, process orders, and foster strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities Responding promptly to customer inquiries related to insulation removal, air duct cleaning, and insulation blowing machines and accessories Delivering engaging product knowledge tailored to the customer’s needs Analyzing customer requirements and making recommendations Managing and updating CRM software Preparing technical and mechanical proposals Identifying new sales opportunities Collaborating cross-departmentally to develop customized solutions What you’ll need to thrive Influencing, negotiating, and closing sales Managing multiple client accounts simultaneously Communicating technical information clearly and effectively Identifying and addressing customer needs and concerns Working autonomously and taking ownership of your routine tasks Verifying data with strong attention to detail Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and industry expertise Developing and maintaining relationships with customers Learning new software Qualifications 1-3 years experience performing full sales cycle Mechanical aptitude 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment Clear communication skills are a must Some college preferred 1-3 years of B2B sales experience preferred Knowledge of Salesforce a plus Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems or vacuums a plus Dry bulk industry or related experience a plus A valid driver's license Our ideal candidate is Dependable and reliable A team player Enjoys interacting with people and working on projects Adaptable/flexible with work that requires shifts in direction Achievement-oriented at meeting goals and deadlines Innovative – contributes to tasks that require creativity Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The range listed is an estimation of base pay, commission and bonus. This is an on-site position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Hybrid or remote work is not available. One must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
