Accounting Specialist

Full-Time | On-Site | Tucson, AZ

We are a well-established Intellectual Property (IP) law firm based in Tucson seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, motivated individual looking to build a long-term career in a professional legal environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: On-site in Tucson, AZ
• Dress Code: Business casual

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with and report to the Senior Accountant, Accounting Specialist, and Director of Operations
• Support the day-to-day accounting functions related to legal services
• Prepare and send client invoices
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform bookkeeping tasks
• Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments
• Interpret legal terminology and understand descriptions of legal work completed by the firm

Qualifications:

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred experience with QuickBooks, LEDES billing, and Google Sheets
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum college GPA of 3.5 (college transcript required)
