Exceed your potential with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for an Aerospace Quality Engineer in Chatsworth, CA. As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will: - Manage quality systems to achieve zero defects and improve manufacturing yields
- Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate RMAs
- Create and oversee corrective action reports
- Conduct internal, process, Nadcap, and supplier audits
- Maintain calibration systems, quality procedures, and industry certifications (AS9100, Nadcap, IPC, MIL-PRF, etc.)
- Submit test samples and periodic reports to external labs
- Utilize SPC and MSA tools to ensure process control and capability
- Participate in technical review boards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies
This is a full-time, opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: - 5+ years of experience in PWB manufacturing or similar industries
- 3+ years of QA/QC experience
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and specifications
- Proficiency in SPC, DOE, MSA, and related methodologies
- IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610 certifications (required)
- ASQ CQE/CQA certifications (preferred)
- Experience with Discus and Net Inspect software
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and analytical skills

Pay Rate*: $75,000 - $95,000/ annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
