Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
• Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Requirements

• Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver’s license
• At least one year experience in crane and hoist
• Must be ok with some out-of-town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay. Other branches include:
• • Indiana: Ft Wayne
  • Ohio: Cincinnati and Columbus
  • Kentucky: Louisville
• Must be able to work in elevated work platforms (Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts & Ladders)
• Experience working with voltages up to 24v, 120v, 230v, 480v,
• Experience in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must have professional tools (sockets, ratchets, and end wrenches up to 1 1⁄4)
