Responsibilities of an Auto Mechanic:

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Replace worn components (belts, hoses, filters, suspension parts)
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure reliability and compliance
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized
• Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and keep vehicles on the road

Requirements of an Auto Mechanic:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician (fleet experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance best practices
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and modern repair equipment
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license required
• Dependable, motivated, and positive work ethic
