Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bookkeeper with at least 4 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online, have a strong background managing government contracts, and excel at working independently with focus and precision.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including AP/AR, reconciliations, and payroll.
Oversee financial records for government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Generate accurate financial reports, statements, and summaries for management.
Track expenses, budgets, and cost allocations to maintain financial accuracy.
Collaborate with leadership to support audits, reporting, and compliance reviews.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (certification preferred).
Experience handling government contract accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and focused, with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
