Job Title: Bookkeeper

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience who is proficient in both the desktop and online versions of QuickBooks. The position requires a strong background in payroll reporting and financial management, with prior experience in a CPA office being a significant advantage. Immediate availability is a must, and no overtime is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients.
• Utilize QuickBooks (desktop and online) to manage financial transactions.
• Handle comprehensive payroll reporting, including:
• Paycheck calculations
• Payroll tax deposit submission and calculation
• Preparation of all required payroll forms
• Prepare financial statements to support tax return preparation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Assist in preparing financial documents and statements for client use (experience with this is a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions).
• Strong experience in payroll reporting and related calculations.
• Prior experience in a CPA office is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with preparing financial statements for tax purposes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $20 - $25 per hour.
• Vacation & Personal Time: 2 weeks of vacation annually
• 1 week of personal time annually
