About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the clinical and administrative components of its adult psychiatric inpatient services. The CMO will be responsible for the administration and coordination of psychiatric and medical services, providing consultation on clinical matters, and ensuring the highest quality of care. This role involves supervising a senior medical leadership team, collaborating with executive and senior leadership to meet organizational goals, and leading the transformation of clinical leadership into high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will be a credible, unifying leader with a valid medical license, certification in general psychiatry, and a strong background in medical executive leadership. As the CMO, the successful candidate will be an innovative leader, a strategic partner, a talent developer, a data-driven visionary, and a collaborative physician executive. They will be expected to ensure the medical department's compliance with all relevant regulations and to align hospital clinical practices with the state's mental health service delivery system. The role requires a self-motivated, forward-thinking physician who is deeply committed to the success of the hospital and can effectively model and promote the institution's mission, vision, and core values. The CMO will also be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and clinical initiatives, and for fostering continuous performance improvement through the use of technology and data.
