Job Description
Piping Technology & Products is currently seeking a class C driver, also known as a delivery driver, is responsible for transporting goods in a straight truck or a combination vehicle . They are also responsible for tasks like loading and unloading cargo, maintaining records, and ensuring vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities of a Class C Driver:
• Driving: Operating a straight truck, small truck with a trailer, or other vehicles within the Class C category.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading cargo at various locations.
• Route Planning: Following assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, fuel receipts, and other paperwork.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Safety: Adhering to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Documentation: Ensuring proper documentation of deliveries and returns.
