Job Overview
The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Operators will prepare machines, monitor production, and inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Pay Rate: $19.25/hour
A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:
\n - Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling and milling
\n - Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
\n - Loading raw materials and parts onto machines
\n - Performing test runs and adjusting settings to meet specifications
\n - Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results
\n - Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality
\n - Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment
\n - Maintaining accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation
\n - Keeping work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards
\n - Supporting team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination as needed

What will help you thrive in this role?\n - High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
\n - Certificate or diploma from a trade school (preferred)
\n - Proven experience operating CNC machinery
\n - Proficiency with precision measurement tools
\n - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
\n - Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
\n - Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
