Crane Operator – Upper

Sandusky, OH, $40/hr. with $125/day worked per diem

50 hours per week standard weeks (not

including slips)

The slips require 12-hour shifts

(days) 7 days per week for approximately 10 days straight. Working 7,12s

the week of 9/8

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to manage the operation of the Manitowoc 888. This role involves swinging steel up to the deck and setting concrete beams, ensuring precision and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Manitowoc 888 crane efficiently and safely.
• Swing steel up to the deck with precision.
• Set concrete beams in accordance with project specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in excellent condition.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience operating overhead cranes, specifically the Manitowoc 888.
• Prior experience working on construction sites.
• Certification for operating the Manitowoc 888.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with construction teams.

Work Environment

This position requires working from 7 AM to 7 PM, five days a week, totaling 50 hours. The work schedule is structured over a 26-week period. Orientation is provided on Mondays, and we welcome travelers seeking new opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
