Title: Data Governance Analyst Duration:12-month contract Location: Houston, TX Pay: $58- $65 Day-to-day: Collaborate with the data governance lead and data stewards to develop, implement, and maintain data governance standards, practices, and processes Assist in identifying and escalating business risks that could impair the success of the program and negatively impact business goals Advise and assist in metadata management in our data catalog, Atlan, to capture data documentation such as workflows, data dictionaries, glossaries, lineage, and other metadata Work with stakeholders to develop a network of data stewards and data owners and assist to develop and execute data governance training Develop, maintain, and support a data governance-centric SharePoint workspace Must Have: Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance and data management End-to-end data governance experience, including data glossary and metadata work, and working with business users on adoption Demonstrated expertise in data governance, data management, data quality, and data stewardship programs Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Office Suite Pluses: Hands-on experience working with data governance tools such as Atlan Experience with data lakes and relational databases Collabera
