DYOPATH is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst I to provide on-site support for desktop and laptop systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as the first line of support for end users. This is a hands-on role where your problem-solving skills and technical expertise will make a daily impact.

As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting hardware and software systems across client endpoints. You'll troubleshoot desktop issues, resolve account access problems, and assist with company software.

Desktop Support Analyst I Position Details

  • Location: On-site in Chillicothe, IL
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm CST
  • Pay: $21/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Provide technical support via in-person, phone, and chat
  • Install, deploy, and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Track and resolve incidents using ticketing tools within SLA timelines
  • Order hardware parts and coordinate repairs
  • Maintain documentation and update knowledge base articles
  • Apply system updates (Microsoft patches, antivirus, application updates)
  • Imaging and configuring operating systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience
  • A+ Certification (current or in progress)
  • Prior experience in a Desktop Support role preferred
  • Intermediate-level knowledge in hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment in providing technical support and resolving issues
  • Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and team-oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
