Frequent interaction with all aspects of the Information Technology Department is a key component of this role. Essential Functions Management of a team of Cyber Security engineers. Proficient in conducting risk vs. business impact analysis. Cyber forensic and threat analysis. Prioritizing threat alerts and response (alerting, management, remediation). Recommend and assist in the implementation of security hardening methodologies. Oversight of numerous security platforms (SIEM, EDR, etc.). Ability to work as a leader, team member, and sole contributor. Develop, design, and improve IT security policies, procedures, and processes across the enterprise. Collaborate with other departments to identify needs that can be met while keeping the environment secure. Implementation of major system changes and integrations following change management policies. Perform security access audits and develop/implement remediation plans. Serve as liaison between staff and the security team to resolve security-related issues. Review daily released Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures and assess against internal systems. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including use of PPE and equipment safeguards. Strong soft skills including communication, presentation, problem solving, multitasking, and working under pressure. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Cyber Security related field. People management and leadership experience. Cyber Security certification(s): CISSP / CISA / CEH. Experience presenting to and working with executive leadership. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity framework standards and best practices. Forensic Cyber Security knowledge. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Skills at organizing resources and establishing priorities. Working Conditions Some lifting and carrying of equipment is required. Travel between locations may be required. Work involves extensive use of a desktop or laptop computer. Most work is performed in a standard office environment. Some work may be performed in a controlled server room environment.
