Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee safety and environmental programs
Ensure OSHA, EPA, and Tennessee environmental compliance
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
Manage permitting, reporting, hazardous waste, and spill prevention
Lead employee safety training and emergency response planning
Partner with operations to drive a proactive, zero-incident culture
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or
equivalent experience)
5+ years of safety/environmental experience in manufacturing or industrial
operations
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
Experience in metals or heavy manufacturing
Environmental permitting/reporting experience
Professional certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.)
