Our client, a prominent Venture Capital Firm, is looking for an Executive Assistant to support 1 MD and their team of 2 on the investment team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented and proactive with a natural ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Position : Executive Assistant to Managing Director and Team
Location : New York, NY (Midtown)
Hours : 8:45am 5:30pm (at least 4 days in the office) some flexibility required
Bachelor's Degree : Preferred
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage active, often changing calendar for busy executives, including business appointments, dinners and board meetings
Extensive travel planning, including both international and domestic itineraries and managing visa processes
Act as a respectful gatekeeper for executives
Develop understanding of, and relationships with key contacts
Prepare, maintain and update meeting materials via PowerPoint and Excel
Manage to-do lists/completion of key actions and next steps
Process expense reports in a timely manner
General administrative duties and high-level executive support as requested
Requirements:
5-10 years of administrative experience; preferably in the finance industry
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Must be organized, detail-oriented and proactive
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
A flexible and positive no task is too big or too small attitude
Strong ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly, resourcefully, and competently
