Job Description

Our client, a leader in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Franklin , TN

Pay Range: 65-75K

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, with an hour of unpaid lunch

What's the Job?

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations
• Execute general interior maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and doors
• Assist operations teams in building and equipment maintenance and repair efforts as directed by management
• Replace lighting and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts to maintain optimal system performance

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 1-3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders safely
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
