Company Description
Browning Seed, Inc. is a Texas-based agribusiness involved in sorghum seed production, native grass seed production, cotton, small grains, and hay production. Our farming operation supports seed production, field maintenance, and seasonal agricultural work. We are seeking a dependable Farm Hand to assist with daily farm and field operations.
Position Overview
The Farm Hand will assist with field work, equipment operation, general farm maintenance, and seasonal agricultural tasks. This role supports planting, spraying, fertilizing, harvest, irrigation, and upkeep of farm ground and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with planting, harvesting, and field operations
· Operate tractors, implements, and farm equipment
· Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance
· Assist with irrigation systems, pumps, and water management
· Maintain farm grounds, fences, and facilities
· Load, unload, and transport materials as needed (Seed, hay, chemicals, etc.)
· Follow safety procedures and operational instructions
Schedule
Full-time position with hours that may vary seasonally.
Qualifications
· Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
· Dependable attendance and punctuality
· Willingness to learn farm equipment and procedures
· Mechanical knowledge strongly preferred
· Farm or agricultural experience preferred but not required
· Dependable transportation to and from different farms
· Valid driver’s license required
