Description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a FSQA Manager in Louisville, KY area! The FSQA Manager oversees all Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards. This role leads food safety systems, manages audits, and drives continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead food safety and quality programs (GFSI/BRCGS, HACCP/HARPC, sanitation, allergen control, environmental monitoring)
• Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, state, and customer requirements
• Manage internal, customer, and third‑party audits; oversee corrective actions
• Supervise QC, Sanitation, and Receiving teams
• Oversee product testing and environmental monitoring programs
• Conduct root‑cause investigations and implement preventive actions
• Deliver training on GMPs, food safety, and quality standards
• Support product development, ingredient approvals, and supplier quality programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• PCQI certification
• Experience in food manufacturing FSQA leadership
• Strong knowledge of GFSI, HACCP/HARPC, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
