Job Description

Business Consultants are responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of Franchisees. They collaborate with Franchisees to set and achieve goals that drive sales, profits, and network growth. The role emphasizes coaching and influencing Franchise organizations to deliver a consistent and safe brand experience, promote same-store growth, and prepare for additional unit expansion. An ideal candidate will reside in Dallas, TX. Duties and Responsibilities Achieve operational and business performance goals for their portfolio, as defined by regional leadership. Lead Annual Planning and Franchise Business Review sessions to assess past performance and align future goals, focusing on sales, profitability, and network expansion while maintaining brand standards. Analyze data and analytics to guide Franchisee actions, providing coaching and recommendations to meet goals. Support Franchisees during remodeling and new restaurant openings, coordinating with construction teams and ensuring operational standards are met. Facilitate communication between Franchisees and cross-functional teams to support brand consistency and growth initiatives. Collaborate with the Field Marketing Team on operational updates and marketing rollouts, supporting local and regional marketing efforts. Conduct restaurant evaluations as needed based on performance reviews or other indicators. Partner with the Field Training Team to provide training support to Franchisees. Manage G&A expenses within regional parameters and complete administrative duties promptly. Education Requirements Minimum: High School diploma or GED Preferred: 4-year/Bachelors Degree Minimum Years of Experience At least 5 years in supervisory management or multi-unit operations at the district level Prior leadership experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders Proficiency in developing and executing results-driven plans Data-informed decision-making skills Problem-solving and team-building abilities Adaptability and resourcefulness Continuous learner mindset Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations Business and financial acumen Consultation and strategic coaching skills Compliance focus Big-picture thinking Creativity and innovation Travel Requirements Willingness to travel as needed to support franchisees At SONIC, we foster a culture of creativity and bold personalities.
