Job Description Job Description Kettle Heroes handcrafts artisan popcorn, kettle corn, and caramel corn in small batches, using only all-natural, non-GMO, gluten-free, nut-free, and kosher ingredients. More importantly, we seek to raise awareness and funds for many non-profits, charitable organizations and causesin particular, military veterans through the Pat Tillman Foundation. Our production staff are true artisans and take pride in crafting the best gourmet popcorn in the Southwestern U.S. We're looking for part-time and full-time staff, in particular, our morning shift from 6 AM - 2 PM, Monday - Friday. We will also have seasonal weekend hours available for part-time employees. Production workers are involved in all aspects of food production, from popping popcorn to filling and sealing bags and boxes. You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical failures Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion Perform routine preventative maintenance Adhere to safety policies and good manufacturing procedures Follow proper food handling and food safety guidelines. All workers must obtain a Food handler's card within the first 2 weeks of employment (training provided and paid by Kettle Heroes). Qualifications: Previous food production experience Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Ability to climb up and down ladders and stairs carrying up to 25 lbs Ability to lift safely and move up to 50 lbs of bulk ingredients Perform repetitive motions involved in labeling, filling, and sealing packaging materials Ability to stand for extended periods up to 4 hours continuously Fluency in English and/or Spanish Forklift certification is a plus Company Description Kettle Heroes handcrafts popcorn in small batches, using only the finest all-natural, gluten-free, nut-free, non-GMO, kosher ingredients.
