Job Description

Koniag Operations Services, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Janitor to support KOS and our government customer in Denver Federal Center Lakewood, CO. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a union position currently paying $20.25 an hr. All benefits are through the CBA.

Our custodial staff is responsible for keeping an office building clean and orderly. Job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning of entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, conference rooms, work areas, floor surfaces, restrooms, locker rooms, shower stalls, water fountains, utility sinks, etc.

• Maintain the appearance of exterior grounds, parking lots, loading docks, and sidewalks

• Emptying wastebaskets/ and trash receptacles

• Dusting of high and low surfaces, including overhead lights and pictures, and using cleaning products to clean or polish soiled surfaces

• Vacuuming carpets and light spot removal duties

• Washing windows and glass cleaning

• May have to perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• 0-2 years' experience preferred.

• Work well with our cooperative and motivated cleaning staff

• Follow detailed cleaning instructions and learn troubleshooting skills

• Capable of performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls

• Clear written and verbal communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.

• Capable of working with a team or independently to achieve departmental goals, including multitasking skills

• Must be available for occasional weekend work.

• Full-time Night shift available

• Part-time night shifts available

• Must be dependable, hardworking, conscientious, and cooperative.

• Able to obtain a Public Trust
