Overview This is a full-time position based out of our Scripps Corporate office in La Jolla and will require travel to other locations as needed. Must be available to work a day shift of 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. The Mail/Transportation Clerk will sort and deliver internal mail and mail from the U.S. Post Office. This position will require the ability to push a cart weighing 100-200 pounds and the ability to lift a 40 pound mail tub. Operate mail machines and scales. Deliver medical records, x-ray films, mail, biomedical equipment between Scripps Health facilities. Drives Scripps Health van. Drives passengers as needed. Responsibilities The role involves mail and transportation duties across Scripps Health facilities, including sorting and delivering mail, operating mail equipment, and transporting items and passengers as required.
