Position Purpose:

Responsible for managing technical project managers who oversee technology projects to ensure completion on time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables for projects managed by direct reports. Monitors multiple projects, evaluates and manages risk, coaches and manages project managers. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project delivery. Must be able to manage projects and backup direct reports.

Manages project managers in all phases of the project life cycle

Allocates appropriate resources and adjusts plans to meet project needs

Oversees project risks to ensure delivery of business goals

Leads change and executes on IT objectives through oversight of key IT stakeholders and owners

Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching

Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices

Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results

Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Root Cause Analysis; Stakeholder Management; Vendor Relationship Management

Experience with Microsoft Office

Experience with Agile Management; Project Management

Experience with developing, monitoring and managing project budgets and schedules

Knowledge of Agile Management; Scrum (Software Development); Software Development Life Cycle

Soft Skills:

Ability to lead/manage others

Collaboration and team building skills

Effectively coaches and delivers constructive feedback

Instills commitment to organizational goals

Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management

License/Certification:

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred

SAFe Scrum Master Certification preferred

Pay Range: $100,900.00 - $186,800.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
