The Manager Nursing - Surgical Services oversees clinical and operational activities across multiple surgical and procedural units, ensuring staff development and quality control aligned with the organization's mission. This leadership role requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, a registered nurse license, and experience in clinical nursing leadership, with a preference for a master's degree. The position is based on-site at Swedish Ballard and focuses on managing 24-hour services including anesthesia, surgery, and recovery units.
Description
Responsible for the direct planning, leading, organization and control of defined area. This may include responsibility for the 24-hour management of Anesthesia, Surgery, Endoscopy, Electro Convulsive Therapy, Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit, Sterile Processing, and Cath Lab at the responsible Campus. Responsible for staff development, implementation of standards and quality control, and for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.
