Responsibilities Manage and lead the regional Credit Management department, collaborating with the APAC leadership team to ensure high-quality credit analysis and monitoring of post-origination credits, including borrower financial performance and outlook. Lead credit management activities and escalation processes in the front office, supporting GCIB Coverage, Sector Coverage, and AIBD functions, working alongside the Middle Office Department (“MOD”) in APAC. Oversee the end-to-end credit process for origination (Coverage and Product) and ongoing monitoring, leveraging internal teams with support from Coverage, Product, and MOD. Support risk management teams and first-line leadership (such as Credit Managed Assets Department, Credit, Regional Business Development) on current and emerging risks, including oversight on Watch processes, regional requirements, and credit cost management for GCIB APAC. Drive global credit process and systems change initiatives in collaboration with GCIB Planning teams and MOD. Requirements Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate and institutional lending or debt advisory at a major bank(s). Bachelor’s degree from a leading university; a Master’s degree is advantageous. Strong understanding of credit writing, financial analysis, modeling, legal documentation, and debt structuring. Experience in credit analysis of corporate finance transactions and structured lending. Effective presentation skills for communicating with internal stakeholders, including management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven track record in issue identification and resolution across multiple markets or financial institutions. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and collaborate with stakeholders across various regions. We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
