WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: - Plan and perform a variety of duties involved in design, development, and continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment and facilities.

- Develop and implement plans for cost reduction and plant efficiency improvements.
\n
- As a project leader, develop a complete project plan including resources, costs, benefits and schedule; assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project to ensure it meets goals and schedule; communicate project status to partners as appropriate; and follow up to ensure project results are sustained.
\n
- Using lean tools, social skills and leadership abilities, lead and facilitate kaizen activities
\n
- Lead and support capital expenditure requests and implementations using basic cost justification and business management principles.
\n
- Support the completion of equipment and facility enhancements to promote safety, quality, and cost/service improvements by developing tooling, fixtures, gauging, instructional aids, improved layouts, etc.
\n
- Advise and assist maintenance personnel in solving equipment problems and machine repairs.
\n
- Develop standardized work and revisions to it based upon continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
YOU HAVE: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
\n
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment within engineering preferred
\n
- Experience in programs such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.
\n
- Experience in initiating and guiding Lean Manufacturing and ongoing improvement initiatives; preferred
