Job Description

Ibis Public Sector (IPS) is looking for an Organizational Change Management Lead to shape and execute strategies that help stakeholders at all levels navigate complex change, build understanding and buy-in, and achieve lasting results. This role requires close collaboration with delivery teams and client leaders to understand strategic goals and tactical impacts. The ideal candidate will leverage these insights to drive successful adoption of key initiatives through clear messaging and effective stakeholder engagement and support.

The Organizational Change Management Lead will work closely with engagement leadership, project managers, and discipline leadership to plan for and manage the organizational change aspects of a digital transformation program for clients. In addition, they will act as a thought leader for IPS in developing methodologies and practices for organizational transformation.

This position requires a minimum of quarterly travel within the continental United States to various U.S. locations, as directed by client and project requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to these locations on a recurring basis at minimum once per quarter. Additionally, there is a potential requirement for international travel in support of operations worldwide. All travel will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal travel regulations and client directives.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute change strategies and deliverables for complex initiatives, tailoring the approach as necessary to best suit the project and client environment
  • Manage all aspects of the change management work stream within one or more projects – leading small internal or client teams as needed and overseeing the development of high-quality deliverables such as stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, communications plans, and training materials
  • Analyze complex business situations and adapt to evolving project needs while applying and tailoring IPS change management methodologies and tools to drive effective delivery
  • Partner and influence at all levels, building trust and credibility, and serving as a change management expert to executives, managers, and frontline staff
  • Facilitate stakeholder/user workshops
  • Plan and deliver stakeholder/user communications and leadership communications
  • Identify, quantify and manage risks to user adoption of change
  • Design and measure KPIs for change adoption
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of change management methodology, reusable processes, assets, tools, playbooks, etc.
  • Mentor and lead junior team members
Who You Are
(required experience/skills)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A US Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance
  • 8+ years professional experience in consulting, public relations, or corporate communications with a focus on change management and/or internal communications roles with the Federal / DOD space
  • Change management (e.g., PROSCI ADKAR, CCMP) certified
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
  • Experience defining and delivering change management strategy, planning, and execution at an enterprise scale
  • Approaches work collaboratively, taking a stakeholder-first perspective in planning change, and bringing a team-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to take the initiative in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, with demonstrated success managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and with minimal direct guidance
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, having the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize information, and propose practical, actionable solutions
  • Able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences , with experience delivering executive-level messaging
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills, with experience leading working groups, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather input and build alignment
  • Experience with user-centered design and/or design thinking principles
  • Experience integrating with creative, brand, and UX/CX teams
  • Experience with digital technologies and transformations—understanding systems, platforms, and applications as well as the unique challenges of driving successful digital change

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000-$130,000 . Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
