Position: Remote Litigation Paralegal
Client: Government Agency
Engagement Type: Temporary – 12-month assignment with potential for extension
Start Date: September/October (onboarding may be staggered)
Pay Rate: $20-$29/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, aligned with Eastern Standard Time business hours
Location: Fully Remote (equipment will be provided)
Overview:
A leading government agency is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic legal team on a long-term project. This fully remote opportunity offers meaningful work and the chance to contribute to a high-impact legal initiative.
Primary Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents, including settlement agreements and internal memoranda
Manage intake, review, and assignment of incoming complaints
Prepare and file Motions of Appearance
Schedule and participate in status conferences
Handle correspondence and client communication with professionalism
Provide general legal and administrative support
Accurately perform data entry and case documentation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with prior experience as a paralegal
Ability to commit to the entire duration of the assignment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable managing a fast-paced and high-volume workload
Proficiency with various legal and administrative software systems
