Hi! I'm Laura and have one cat and one dog - both lively but senior, here in Chicago, Illinois. I just moved - 2 days ago! I'm looking for a reliable pet sitter who can provide top-notch care for my fur babies and has the ability to stay at my home 24/7 when I'm away. If you already work remotely that would be fine. This would be 6 consecutive days starting Tues 7/29 to Sun 8/3. I need someone who is experienced in handling both cats and dogs, capable of providing dog walking, overnight care, and pet sitting services. The daily compensation for this pet care opportunity is $100 per day. The ideal candidate should be patient, responsible, trustworthy and have a high level of communication. For the most part you will be lounging around, however my dog is reactive around other pets, as well as some people, and so I need someone who feels comfortable with that when walking her. Her total daily walks depending on weather will be 30 to 60 minutes. You will need to put a soft muzzle on her EVERY time she leaves the apartment. It is not a requirement but if you can pill animals that is a plus. I can show you how as well. You will also need to do cat litter once during the stay. Since I will be traveling, I need someone who can stay overnight and all day to ensure my pets are comfortable and well-cared for during my absence. I will be at home all day Tuesday (you will get paid the full rate) to help get you settled and to make sure you don't have any questions before I leave.
