Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Butler, Alabama. This full-time position offers flexibility while allowing you to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities to restore mobility and optimize function.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention and long-term wellness.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists—to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
Adhere to all ethical, legal, and facility standards for patient care and documentation.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s (MPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Alabama Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
CPR certification preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
Work Environment:
Full-time position with flexible scheduling.
Practice settings may include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments.
