Job Description
Project Architect
Experience: Five to Eight years of experience
Licensure: Certification as licensed professional architect required
Reports To: Principal In Charge / Senior Management
Education: Professional degree in architecture
Duties: All duties assigned to Senior and Project Coordinators, designers, and technicians
Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.
Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
Travel to and visit project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports. (Site visits may require travel involving both day trips and some overnight stays to out-of- town project locations)
Technology: Revit / SketchUp / AutoCAD / Adobe Suite / MS Office
Mentorship: Will be responsible for mentoring the following, but is not limited to; less experienced staff
