Job Title: Quality Tester

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Tester role on 2nd shift where training will be provided. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a solid work history in a manufacturing environment, and either quality experience or a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use print to test coils to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and methods procedures.
• Set up and operate testing equipment used in leak detection of copper, brass, and cupro-nickel.
• Set up screens and test pressure on the screen.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality control and inspection.
• Proficiency with test equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical assembly and inspection tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Work Environment

Work in a large plant environment that is not temperature-controlled. Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds (non-repetitive), and stoop as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grenada, Mississippi.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
