We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize our Salesforce environment at an exciting time of expansion and modernization. The ideal candidate will ensure the platform aligns with the agencys needs, enhance user adoption, maintain system integrity and provide training to users. Some Salesforce Developer duties are also expected. The position will work collaboratively across divisions and with outside vendors. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: This position will serve as Salesforce Administrator for MEAs Salesforce database which supports the agencys core functions as well as the deployment of over $250 Million in grants and rebates in clean energy. The position will lead all Salesforce administration and internal training initiatives and will work collaboratively with other leadership on strategic initiatives to expand the use of Salesforce and streamline and optimize agency operations. Key responsibilities: Oversee user and license management, including setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, and permissions Configure and maintain Salesforce features such as workflows, approval processes, page layouts, and dashboards Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions Provide training and support to internal end-users, ensuring effective utilization of Salesforce tools Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and optimizations Maintain technical documentation and assist in data management tasks Design and implement custom features and integrate with other systems and applications Other tasks as assigned to support state and agency priorities. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or possession of a high school equivalency certificate Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM platforms and best practices Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in related field Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Administrator Experience and comfort with meeting, interacting with, and providing information to, senior management teams, executive leadership, and government officials. Position Location: A hybrid remote telework and in-office schedule is available per the policies of the Maryland Energy Administration and State of Maryland, which may change from time to time. Currently, this position requires the candidate to be present in the office several days per week. In addition, the individual must be available in person other times as needed to perform certain job functions. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with mandatory in-office attendance at the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) office in Baltimore, MD, every Tuesday and Wednesday.
