Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide school-based therapy services within an elementary and early years setting in Bear, DE. This role supports the development and functional independence of young students through individualized assessment and intervention aligned with educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in early childhood and elementary school programs
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including educators, parents, and administrators
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school policies
• Support student participation in classroom and school activities by addressing sensory, motor, and functional needs
• Maintain active communication regarding student progress and goals

Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapy license required (licensure verification must be submitted)
• Demonstrated experience working as an OT in school-based settings, preferably with early years and elementary-aged children
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and educational curriculum integration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a student-centered approach
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute onsite daily

Schedule and Duration:

• Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 8:45 AM 4:15 PM
• Contract term through June 12, 2026
• Onsite work only
