Security & Facilities Safety Manager - Silicon Valley, CA Role: You will be responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and operational efficiency of the firm’s facilities. This role ensures a secure, compliant, and well-maintained work environment for employees, clients, and visitors, while managing building operations, vendor relationships, and emergency protocols. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies to comply with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, fire codes). Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees, including emergency response, fire drills, and first aid procedures. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all firm facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and office equipment. Manage vendor relationships and contracts for services such as cleaning, maintenance, parking, and catering. Develop and manage budgets for safety, security, and facilities operations, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain emergency response and business continuity plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management protocols. Qualifications: Law firm/professional services experience preferred Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, fire codes, data protection laws). Proficiency with security systems (e.g., access control, surveillance, alarms) and facilities management software. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
