Our client works on a hybrid basis in the North Chicago Suburbs , offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefit Responsibilities Review and report daily trading activity, profit and loss, and fund performance. Work with our fund administrator to make sure monthly NAVs (Net Asset Values) are accurate and on time. Help prepare valuations of investments in line with accounting rules and internal policies. Assist in producing regular reports for investors, regulators, and internal teams. Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors during year-end and review financial statements. Support the trading team on special private deals and investment tracking. Suggest and implement ways to improve processes and internal controls What We're Looking For A degree in Finance or Accounting with strong grades. 2-5 years of experience in accounting for private equity, private credit, hedge fund, or public accounting firm. CPA qualification or relevant finance/accounting experience in asset management. Strong Excel skills; experience with other financial systems is a plus. Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
