SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER 8+ years experience in Multifamily, Single Family FFE and Specifications
The Successful Candidate will be a CREATIVE and quick-thinking team player, with impeccable professionalism, commitment to deadlines and easy-going personality!
You will have a 4-year degree in Interior Design and 8+years applicable Interior Design experience in Furnishings, Fabrics and Specifications. With your 4+ years of team leadership or management skills, you will successfully train and coach your design assistant and work collaboratively with others involved in the projects.
We prefer candidates who live/work in the Central Florida area or plan to move here soon.

SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake design project from concept to completion focusing on Specs and FFE
Manage multiple projects focusing on high end amenities, multi-family and models
Interpret and translate customer needs into desired Specs and final FFE
Work closely with Interior Architecture to concept interior details and space planning in all phases of the project (drawings are by Interior Architects)
Assist with and/or lead client meetings and job site walk throughs
Keep all projects on schedule and within time frames set out for selections and ordering
Follow spec and FFE budget requirements
Ensure all items are ordered for a project with the Project Manager/Expeditor
Understand CA process, RFIs and Submittals as needed
Participate fully in the FFE installation and punch of the project
Use your Leadership skills to train and coach your Design Assistant and collaborate with others working on the project
Work closely and respectfully with outside architects, supers, clients, subs etc
