Work Flexibility: Onsite

Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing/Operations to support the manufacturing of Neurovascular products in Salt Lake City, Utah.

What you will do:
    \n
  • Define & implement specific solutions to technical problems, completing the tasks associated with such projects and writing reports that clearly document the results
  • \n
  • Validation work including writing and executing validations
  • \n
  • Resolve in-house and supplier quality problems using established problem-solving methodologies
  • \n
  • Participate in the development and improvement of the manufacturing process for existing and new products
  • \n
  • Review & approve inspection plans, routers and product drawings
  • \n
  • Facilitate quality remediation, gap closure through partnership with cell Quality Engineers
  • \n
  • Support initiating and closure of non-conformance and corrective and action preventative actions
  • \n
  • Support projects, bringing in capital equipment for new manufacturing lines and upgrades to existing lines
  • \n
  • Work cross functionally with teams for projects and initiatives including lean manufacturing, added capacity and new product launches
  • \n
  • Provide technical support for quality control, process improvement, cost savings, process development projects, new product launches, equipment qualifications, and process validations
  • \n
  • Operate within Stryker's quality system to produce documentation such as, inspection plans, equipment maintenance logs and standard operating procedures
  • \n
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by performing time studies, value stream analysis, flow analysis and other lean related tasks
  • \n
  • Make proposals/recommendations in support of the team to help achieve team goals in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale
  • \n
  • Periodically work with vendors
  • \n

What you need:
    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment required
  • \n
  • Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred
  • \n
  • Previous manufacturing Co-Op experience- preferred
  • \n
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environment- preferred
  • \n
