Job Description

**Job Title: Small Engine Technician/Assembler** As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for identifying malfunctions in pressure washers and providing a comprehensive summary of necessary repairs, including parts and labor. You will complete repairs to ensure pressure washers are up to specification and provide in-shop training to customers on their use and operation. Additionally, you will assist with technical support and assemble new machines for display purposes. **Responsibilities** + Identify reasons for pressure washer malfunctions and provide detailed summaries of repair needs. + Complete necessary repairs to bring pressure washers up to specification. + Provide in-shop training to customers on the operation and use of pressure washers and related tools. + Assist customers with basic technical inquiries and support over the phone. + Assemble, test, and label machines, systems, and subsystem components. + Assemble and test new machines for showroom and display purposes. + Unload trucks and properly store delivered items in the warehouse. + Assist in the retail shop with customer support and diagnose issues for walk-in customers. **Essential Skills** + 3-5+ years of experience in assembly and mechanical repair. + Ability to read technical drawings. + Proficiency in identifying hand tools and industry-related tools for assembly and repair. + Strong customer service skills and professionalism. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. + Familiarity with hydraulics, blueprints, and electrical schematics. + Experience in an assembly line and maintenance technician roles. **Why Work Here?** Join a team known for its exceptional quality in pressure washers, with a reputation for being the best in the business. This role is based in a satellite location in Linthicum Heights, MD. The position offers a 1st shift schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured workday in a supportive retail shop setting. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Owings Mills, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
