Job Overview

Sr Product Manager, Technical is a strategic, visionary, and customer-focused leader responsible for the end-to-end management of T-Mobile's internal and external products, platforms, and services. This role involves identifying customer needs, assessing technical feasibility, aligning with business objectives, securing funding, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Job Responsibilities :

  1. Owns the product lifecycle for complex solutions, including creating and communicating vision and roadmaps.
  2. Conducts user research and analyzes data to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  3. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and enhance customer experience.
  4. Leverages testing methodologies and data analysis to inform product decisions.
  5. Prepares business cases with ROI and cost-benefit analyses.
  6. Secures and manages product funding and communicates project progress to leadership.
  7. Monitors industry trends and incorporates innovations into product strategy.
  8. Effectively communicates and influences at all organizational levels.
  9. Leads product execution, including writing detailed features and user stories for Agile teams.
  10. Manages product backlogs and prioritizes features based on impact.
  11. Coordinates with technical teams to address technical debt and long-term investments.
  12. Ensures product quality and manages releases and beta programs.
  13. Develops and maintains dashboards to track product health and success metrics.
  14. Participates in and facilitates Agile ceremonies and planning sessions.
  15. Builds strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customer groups.
  16. Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing education and networking.

Education and Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience. (Required)
  • 6+ years in technical writing, solution engineering, or architecture in large-scale environments. (Required)
  • 7+ years in Product Management within an agile software development setting. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Proven success with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools.
  • Ability to develop initiatives, features, and user stories for DevOps teams.
  • Deep understanding of platform technologies, APIs, and integration protocols.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in SQL, Tableau, and analytical solutions like SAS or SPSS.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Certifications :

  • Preferred: Scrum Master (CSM), Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP.

Additional requirements include being at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., and willingness to travel as needed.
