Job Overview:

We’re seeking a Technical Product Owner with a strong background in hotel technologies to help shape and deliver innovative digital guest and associate experiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and technology partners to lead the roadmap and execution of hotel systems that enhance operations and guest services.

This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic vision and technical understanding to support and manage ancillary hotel systems such as housekeeping, public space management, concierge services, parking technologies, robotics, and environmental controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology & Product Development:

  • Lead strategy and development of hotel systems and digital guest technologies.
  • Define product roadmaps in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Oversee product backlog management, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Partner with vendors and internal leaders to define and deliver scalable, cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Manage technical solutions related to operations including housekeeping, concierge, parking, and related services.
  • Develop total cost of ownership models and review vendor proposals.
  • Support guest experience enhancements through continuous technology improvements.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a technical leader, collaborating across disciplines and vendor teams.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships at various management levels.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, structured processes, and collaboration.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership in the delivery and support of hotel systems.

Strategy & Project Management:

  • Develop strategic plans and technology roadmaps for hotel systems.
  • Manage project priorities using agile methodologies and product backlog management.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and drive decision-making to meet project and business goals.
  • Lead the evaluation of operational quality and performance reporting.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • 3+ years of IT experience, including:
  • 1+ year in a technical or business product ownership role.
  • 1+ year of vendor management experience.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of the full product development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing cloud applications and integrations.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security regulations (PCI, PII), and compliance.
  • Background in hospitality operations or hotel technology environments.
  • Experience working with HR leaders on operational technologies such as scheduling or workforce management.
  • 2+ years in a PCI-regulated environment preferred.
