• Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 (Central Iowa nursing jobs)\n
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)\n
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• On Call: Every 3rd night & every 3rd weekend (7pm Friday – 7am Monday)\n
• Floating: Required across all Des Moines campuses to similar units\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,680 - $2,870\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience\n
• Structural heart procedure experience required\n
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred\n
• Travel nursing experience highly encouraged\n
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)\n
• Ability to scrub preferred; strong circulators considered\n
• Willingness to float to similar units across Des Moines campuses\n
• Precepting experience a plus\n

\n\nCath Lab RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab using the nursing process\n
• Assist with structural heart and electrophysiology procedures\n
• Scrub and/or circulate during cardiac procedures\n
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases\n
• Float to similar units across Des Moines healthcare campuses\n
• Precept and mentor new nursing staff\n
• Document patient care in EPIC EMR\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes\n
