Job Skills / Requirements Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for a security position! IPSC is hiring security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our team. Position requires: A valid Driver's License, Clean Driving Record, Active Unarmed Guard Card, at least 25 years old, open availability, and willingness to travel. Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience is a plus, but training will be provided to suitable candidates. You will help prevent and deter crime by: Performing regular and random patrols of multiple premises Reporting security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences Performing control procedures when necessary Operating emergency equipment Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports Investigating property breaches You must meet the following requirements: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Strong communication skills Professional appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible availability, including weekends Reliable transportation Active cellphone Ability to pass a drug screening Physical and mental job requirements: Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in emergencies Ability to read and interpret written information Ability to operate a motor vehicle if required Ability to detect sounds relevant to emergencies amidst background noise Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit Ability to lift at least 50 lbs waist-high Good mental health and decision-making skills in emergencies Must meet state licensing requirements for Security Guard/Officer work, either armed or unarmed Accommodations for the above requirements will be considered where possible.
