Job Description

We're hiring a Design Intern for our Los Angeles office!

Duration: May 2025 - August 2025

Minimum Commitment: 2-3 days or 10-15 hours / week 

Boys Lie is looking for a Design intern to join our team working in Marina Del Rey, CA. This candidate is a self-starter with a passion for fashion & graphic design, as well as excellent organizational and time-management skills. 

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS: 

• This is an unpaid internship. 
• Currently enrolled in college a plus. This position is ideally for students seeking to attain internship hours per their course/degree requirements.
• Must be in office and able to commute to/around Marina Del Rey, CA. Hours are flexible based on class schedule.
• Must be able to work in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience in graphic design a plus.

DAILY / WEEKLY DUTIES:

This position will report directly to the Senior Designer, assisting with all duties, including but not limited to— 

• Take direction from Design team to make graphic and garment CAD updates.
• Organize & maintain reference decks (mood boards).
• Creating & updating tech packs.
• Helping maintain/build internal org charts in google sheets.
• ​Fabric & trim organization (will gain experience in sourcing).
• Storage runs/archiving samples. 
• Help manage ref sample orders.

EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES:

• Proficient in working with Google Suite and Dropbox.
• Well-versed in Illustrator and Photoshop. 
• Ability to run office and company errands as required.
• Possesses a positive attitude and works well in a team environment.
• Able to juggle concurrent projects or duties. 
• Any other duties as assigned.
