IT Helpdesk Technician – Contract to Hire | Onsite role in Orangeburg, SC

• Helpdesk Technician I: $20–$24/hr
• Helpdesk Technician II: $24–$27/hr

We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to support a growing manufacturing company in Orangeburg, SC. This is a 100% onsite, contract-to-hire role with hours from 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Perform software installations, updates, and imaging of devices.
• Track and maintain IT assets and documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed; coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years of IT support/helpdesk experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Microsoft certifications a plus.
