Job Description- Junior DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite – Cleveland, OH)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

As a Junior DevOps Engineer , you will support DevOps processes that enhance software delivery speed and reliability. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with up to 2 years of experience , eager to learn, innovate, and contribute to maintaining and improving automation-driven web solutions in a global environment.

You will work closely with senior engineers to configure, implement automation, and support application deployments. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud environments, container orchestration, and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in automation , deployment , and cloud-based application support .
• Troubleshoot application, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Maintain Linux systems , containers (Docker, Kubernetes) , and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) .
• Support security compliance, monitoring, and system performance tuning .
• Document configurations, deployments, and best practices.
• Participate in 24x7 production support (as needed).

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 1+ years IT experience.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) .
• Familiarity with Linux, automation tools, scripting (Ruby, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitHub)
• Understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/IP) and containerization .
• Analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) .
• Exposure to security tools (SAST, DAST, WAF) and Agile practices .
