JOB SUMMARY

As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will play an essential role in our foodservice supply chain, ensuring orders are correctly picked and prepared for delivery to our community’s foodservice venues. Engage in an active, physical role involving the operation of electric pallet jacks or forklifts. Organize and palletize products to efficiently build customer orders. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Your work environment may vary in temperature and humidity levels based on the type of products being handled (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years old. No prior relevant work experience required. Ability to frequently lift products weighing between 10lbs and 75lbs, with the potential to lift up to 100lbs. Must be able to reach heights of up to 72 inches. Capability to bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelves. Must be comfortable working in extreme temperature conditions (coolers and freezers). Ability to be on your feet for 10 - 12 hours daily.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

One year of experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred. One year of experience in a warehouse, military, or another physically demanding job. One year of selection experience is preferred. A consistent work history of at least two years is preferred. Sysco
