Are you a passionate pharmacist looking to lead in one of Edmonton’s most vibrant communities? Shoppers Drug Mart #2418 in Strathcona is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to join our team and lead a high-performing pharmacy with a dedicated Care Clinic.

With an on-site Care Clinic, we offer enhanced services tailored to the evolving healthcare needs of our diverse clientele.

Why this role is important:

As Pharmacy Manager , you will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations—ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, and full-scope practice. You’ll be a key leader in delivering professional services and maintaining the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Do:

Pharmacy & Customer Service

• Provide personalized consultation and professional services to patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure accuracy in dispensing, patient counseling, and confidentiality
• Practice to full scope within legal and regulatory frameworks
• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with standards and legislation

Workflow & Inventory Management

• Monitor workflow queues and ‘will call’ bins to optimize efficiency
• Oversee inventory control and medication ordering
• Manage controlled substances in compliance with Health Canada and regulatory requirements

Operations & Leadership

• Ensure the pharmacy presents a professional and welcoming environment
• Coach and develop pharmacy team members to deliver high-quality service
• Interpret financial and operational reports to drive performance
• Complete incident reports and ensure Health & Safety policies are followed

What You Bring:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Experience in community pharmacy or clinical setting preferred
• Strong leadership and independent decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems and technology
• Passion for healthcare, community engagement, and continuous learning
• Additional Prescribing Authority and Injection Certified
