We're seeking a Radiologist Tech to serve in an Emergency Room capacity in Gwinnett County, GA.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)

2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.

2. One (1) year of training and experience in Special Procedures or Computerized Tomography.

3. Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

4. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

SKILLS:

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, action plans, business correspondence, policies and procedure manuals

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA

WORKING CONDITIONS

Possible exposure to infectious/contagious diseases, hazardous chemicals and materials, needlesticks, blood and body fluids. All employees are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis B vaccination series.

M/T/F 6:30am-8pm

Min of 2 years of experience within specialty
Required BLS.
